Competition Shooting Spotlight // PCSL: Practical Competition Shooting League
Published by Tyler Dickerson on Oct 08, 2024
Built upon years of experience in all sorts of competitive shooting environments, the PCSL represents one of the most modern and optimized formats in shooting sports to date.
The series founder, Max Leograndis, a PCC National Champion many times over, has developed a common sense, easily accessible rulebook, that allows beginner shooters and seasoned professionals alike to jump in and sharpen their shooting skills.
THE BASICS: 2-Gun Style events with Hit-Factor Scoring to push both speed and accuracy, with the unique addition of the K-ZONE Target:
A single shot into the K-ZONE will net you the entire 10-Points available per each target, which allows shooters many options on how to tackle each stage, as they manage their ammunition and flow between targets.
TWO DIVISIONS: COMPETITION // PRACTICAL
The Competition division caters to race-gun style setups with all the tricks of the trade: compensators, brakes, and lightweight mods are all hallmarks here. Where the league really shines is in the Practical Division, which eliminates some of the “game-y” gun mods and focuses on every-day equipment that the average shooter is using, with no arbitrary limits on lights/optics/suppressors so competitors can run their go-to setups and get a better idea of how they perform on the clock.
Log in to Practiscore to find a PCSL match close to you, and get in on one of the most exciting new leagues in Shooting Sports!
