Top 10 Most Popular Guns + Tac Lights
Published by Dara Holsters on Apr 23, 2020
Here's our list of Top 10 Firearm and Tac Light Combinations from 2019-2020. These combinations appear most frequently in holster orders from the last year. Check it out...
1. Glock 19 with Streamlight TLR-1
For years the TLR-1 has given shooters the most bang for their buck. It also comes with the added benefit of being easy to find a holster for, on top of being an all around great product. The light retails for under $200, including the HL (high lumens) version.
Firearm runners up: FNX-45 Tactical, FN509, Glock 17, Glock 40 MOS, Glock 20, Sig P226, Sig P320
2. Glock 19 with Surefire X300-U
The X300U is the fancier choice for shooters looking into tac lights. If you're looking into purchasing this light, take note of the version you are buying. The X300U-A is the most commonly supported model when it comes to holster manufacturing, the X300U-B may not be supported. When placing an order with us, simply let us know you have the "B" version, as we do support this model.

3. Glock 19 with Streamlight TLR-7
The TLR-7 has risen in popularity and become one of the top selling holsters we offer. Please note that there are two versions of the TLR-7, the original version and the "A" version. Both of which will fit into the same holster.
Firearm runners up: M&P Compact 4", Glock 17, Sig P320C
4. Glock 19 and Glock 26 with Streamlight TLR-6
The TLR-6 popularity has recently started to fizzle out, due to today's holster technology making it easier to conceal larger firearms. More and more shooter's are opting for full sized firearms over single stack 9mm's and that's causing the TLR-6 to take a sales dive.

5 & 6. Glock 19 and Olight PL-2 Valkyrie and Pl-Mini
Not to be confused with the many models with variations of the same name, the PL-2 Valkyrie and the PL-Mini (NOT the PL-2 Mini) are becoming hugely popular. We will be coming out with a holster shortly for the PL-Pro, of which we have gotten numerous requests for. This will be announced very soon, so keep an eye out!
7. Any Firearm with an Optic

While there are many Red Dot Sight to choose from, these seem to be the most popular right now. Not listed above is the Delta Point Pro, also very popular. Please note that for Duty Holsters specifically, we do not support dove tail mounts. Any mounting system that is not factory put the optic too high for our Level 2 Hood to clear. It simply won't work and we cannot accommodate it. Spend the money, get your slide milled correctly.
8. Glock 19 with Streamlight TLR-8
The TLR-8 now has three versions, two of which are not widely supported by holster manufacturers. The original TLR-8 is supported and listed above, while the TLR-8G and TLR-8Ga are not supported due to the laser version not being as popular as the light-only version.
9. Glock 19 Inforce APL, APL gen 3
Take note, that the APL and APL gen 3 are different and you'll need to select your light model accordingly as they are not compatible within the same holster.
10. Crimson Trace Trigger Guard Lasers
While Crimson Trace remains a popular choice, the trigger guard lasers have certainly taken a back seat in the last couple of years. The argument over whether or not putting a laser on your CCW is a good idea has caused these products to decline, resulting in holster sales to be very limited. While still a good option, you won't find many holsters manufacturers supporting them.
