Dara's Level II Duty Holster is not just any OWB Holster with a hood slapped on it. It was designed from the ground up for the rigors duty and guaranteed for life. Starting with a robust body formed using .125" purpose blended Polymers, then fastened with blackened stainless steel hardware. This rig utilizes our tried and true Military Grade adjustable Rubber Retention System that allows you to tune the resistance to your preferred draw stroke. Our auto throw hood is locked in place until the intuitively located thumb lever is depressed. The hood then rotates with enough force to move loose garment, making your firearm ready when you need it. Don't settle for less- if you demand quality and endless reliability, you've found it.

-Our Duty Holsters are hand crafted in the USA from .125" Boltaron and molded precisely to each firearm for a perfect fit.

-The FN 509 Duty Holsters now come standard equipped to accommodate slide mounted optics and suppressor height sights.

-Our Level 2 Retention rotating hood is newly redesigned. The auto throw hood is locked in place until the intuitively located thumb lever is depressed. The hood then rotates with enough force to move loose garment.

-Also features an adjustable Retention System. Our rubber retention system was designed by us for use specifically with our holsters. Able to hold the most minute adjustments, this advanced system eliminates the need for loctite or any other thread locking substance.

-Holster can be used with a leg strap for added stability.

There are not a lot of options for holsters for the FN 509 tactical, this one is the best I've seen. It is very sturdy and the level 2 restraint turns into level 1 with the push of a button.

I had been looking for a holster for my 509 LS, and heard about Dara Holsters. I looked at their website, and placed an order for this model holster. It arrived quickly. I unpacked it and it was awesome. The gun fit perfectly,. No scratches, beautifully polished. The thumb retention is the best I have used. It is well constructed with several adjustments for belt size and can’t. The blended polymers appear to be very strong, and the hardware is excellent. I could not have found a better holster. I recommend any holster built by Dara, they are first rate quality and built to last.

SOLID design. Easy release. Looks and feels very well put together. A little heavier than I anticipated but nothing a new belt won’t fix. 5/5 would recommend

I’ve ordered multiple OWB holsters for multiple weapon platforms. I was looking for something for “duty” style for a battle belt setup. 110% recommend. The quality cannot be matched. Material is tough and not flexible like most other products, very resistant to heat, and rock solid once attached. Couldn’t have asked for a better holster for my 509T.

I have a niche for my equipment. This holster fell within the niche. I have some small misgivings on it only for Dara not accepting Olights but regardless of that fact, the hostler does what you would expect. I am putting it through its paces and taking the loss on the light but maybe another variant will come out that will fix that. There is nothing negative I can comment on it. Its really on par with what you would expect and seriously, no faults thus far.
