WALTHER PDP DUTY HOLSTER

I purchased this holster recently for my Walther PDP Match 5" with polymer frame and it fits perfectly. No issues so far, great product.

Exceeded my expectations. Gun fits perfectly. I love the ease of the release.

I simply was scouring the Internet for a duty holster that would fit my Walther PDP pro which had been modified with a PMM comp and a holosun 508T . Fortunately I came across Dara Holsters.
The PDP pro has a 4.5 inch slide and a 5.1 inch barrel, with the added compensator it has been a task to find any duty holster that will accommodate it.
I ordered the 5 inch PDP holster in hopes it would work.
To my luck it fit like an absolute glove. Great retention as well as an audible click that tells you it’s locked inside. As far as craftsmanship, it’s top notch, very well constructed and I really like the button that’s used to deactivate the secondary level of retention. To anyone who’s pistol build is similar I will note that the compensator does extend past the muzzle of the holster by about half an inch, so it is exposed and it is a bit tight at the end making it a bit snug. Not a deal breaker however , I’m still very pleased overall with their product and would purchase from them again.

I purchased the duty holster for a run and gun competition. The fit and finish is excellent! I love the quick thumb release for the retention collar. This was a must as I could not afford the pistol popping out of the holster resulting in a DQ (and more importantly the safely concerns associated with losing control of a loaded weapon). The draw is smooth and I like the belt width adjustment. FYI it mated up perfectly with a Black Scorpion belt. I will be ordering another soon for my other pistol.

Absolutely LOVING this holster system with it’s ultra quick thumb throw hood system. The placement off the body is really intuitive and the draw is smoooooth.

Also, I can confirm that the hood fit over the 4” PDP Compact with a Holosun 509T atop a C+H Precision adapter plate

First Dara holster for myself. Pleased with how nice it is. I like the drop and offset. Wanted the duty holster for red dot, with the hood working perfectly. Got it for Run-N-Gun, not duty.

This is the second one I ordered for my 4” PDP pistol, my first was so impressive for use on my tactical gear, I ordered the second one for my regular duty gear set up.

The holster fits the PDP well and has a slight snap retention feature to keep the pistol in-place for weapon retention. It draws super fast with the best hood retractable release Ive ever carried compared to another leading competitor which now doesn’t stand up against the Dara.

I highly recommend this holster for your PDP or any other duty use firearm.

This is a review of my Walther PDP Duty Holster. This is my second Dara Duty Holster, the first one several years ago for a CZ.

I ran the holster during a week of training at Gunsite in Arizona. I was the only student rocking a duty type retention rig. I mounted it on a battle belt with G Code mag carriers. The holster never hung me up and I was just as fast from the draw as anyone else. These are fast to release and draw from compared to most other duty holsters that I really dislike (Safari****)!

Highly recommend if you are in LE or security.

Perfect holster, although I wish they had a level 3. USA duty gear couldn't make one in less than a month, DARA sent me mine in 2 days.
