New Concealment System Revealed: Ultimate Comfort, Retention, & Concealability!
Published by Dana Dara on Feb 06, 2025
Welcome to our in-depth Q&A session where we address your most pressing questions about our new concealment system! This versatile holster is designed for both inside-the-waistband (IWB) and outside-the-waistband (OWB) carry, offering maximum concealability and functionality. Let’s dive into your questions one by one!
1. Is this OWB holster good for concealed carry?
Yes! This holster is specifically designed for concealed carry. Its low-profile design ensures it rides tight to your body for excellent concealment. However, body shape plays a role in how well it conceals. If you carry extra weight around the midsection, the grip may protrude slightly, but with proper training and fitness, this holster can provide excellent concealment.
2. Will this holster fit my firearm model?
Currently, we offer a limited selection of firearm models to ensure a smooth product launch. However, we’re actively expanding our lineup based on customer demand. Use our firearm request form to suggest your model, and the most requested options will be prioritized.
3. How comfortable is this OWB holster for all-day wear?
While it’s designed for concealability, which inherently reduces comfort slightly, we’ve prioritized features like a full sweat shield and mag release coverage for better all-day wear. It balances snugness and comfort to make it as comfortable as possible for extended use.
4. What retention features does this holster offer?
This concealment system uses passive retention on the trigger guard or light-bearing attachment. While it doesn’t have active retention, it’s designed for efficient, secure carry. For those needing active retention, there are other niche options on the market.
5. How well does this holster conceal under different clothing?
This holster is optimized to conceal under a T-shirt and offers an adjustable concealment claw to tuck the grip efficiently against your body. Body size, shape, and firearm model will affect overall concealability, but this design accommodates most scenarios, including appendix carry for maximum discretion.
6. What material is this OWB holster made from, and how durable is it?
The holster is made from Kydex or Boltaron, depending on the color, ensuring durability and precision. The loops are constructed from long glass-filled nylon, a reinforced engineering polymer, making them incredibly strong. These loops exceed 400 pounds in breakaway testing, ensuring lifetime reliability.
7. Does this holster provide quick access for defensive draw?
Yes, but it depends on your training and carry position. Whether you carry appendix, 3 o’clock, or another position, with practice, this holster can deliver a fast, efficient draw. Proper training is key to maximizing performance.
8. Is this holster adjustable to different carry angles or positions?
Absolutely! This holster supports various angles and positions, including appendix, 4 o’clock, and small-of-back carry. You can customize cant angles (e.g., 5°, 10°, 15°) to suit your needs.
9. Is this holster compatible with attachments like lights or red dot sights?
Yes! This holster supports a variety of weapon lights and accommodates popular red dot sights like the Aimpoint Acro, Trijicon SRO, Steiner MPS, and smaller optics. It’s ready for most modern firearm configurations.
10. What are other customer reviews and ratings on this OWB holster?
Since the holster hasn’t officially launched, there are no public reviews yet. However, we’ve rigorously tested it in-house and through beta testers, all of whom have given overwhelmingly positive feedback. This holster is the result of years of design expertise, and we’re confident you’ll love it too!
