I am new to pistol competitions and want to start in the spring. I wanted to use my beretta 92FS but could not find a good holster, until I found Dara. When I came it was an absolute perfect fit and is very well made, love all the adjustments you can make on the double belt loop. When testing it at the range it worked perfectly with a very smooth draw and very comfortable to wear all day, could even tell it was there. Would highly recommend.

I found DARA while searching for a holster to fit the Walther Q5 Match SF. The gun was just released and DARA was the only company I found offering an OWB holster for it. I had no prior experience with DARA and really just assumed it was another of a bazillion companies folding Kydex. Wow, was I wrong, and happy to be so! Everything about the Custom Action Sport holster is way above what you typically see in Kydex gear. The fit to the gun is absolutely perfect, all edges are smooth and look polished, the sweat-shield on the inside is high, and the double loop belt attachment is the best I have seen. The hanger is sturdy and has easy adjustment for gun height on the belt & cant. The spacers that adjust for belt-width (1.5" - 2") are positioned with little posts & holes and then anchored with screws that thread through a tiny nut held in place by a properly shaped recess in the back of hanger. This is just an uncommon attention to detail. The hanger also sets the gun off the hip far enough to make the draw fast while still being USPSA Production/Carry Optics legal. The packaging was extraordinary too. Ok, this point is sort of trivial but I think it illustrates the attention to detail. Other holsters arrive in a zip-loc bag. Dara packaged the holster and mag carrier in a foam lined box, with company logo and sent tracking information in advance. This is a top-drawer rig. I can't say enough good about it, and NO I am not kin to anyone at DARA!
