Capability: The Dara Automatic retention is just how it sounds, it retains a wide variety of magazines ranging from single stack 1911 to the new double stack micro compacts and back up to the extra large 2011 and double stack 45 magazines. Different magazine lengths are also accommodated with the 3 position adjustable internal depth plate. 

Durability: We've thrown everything we can at these carriers, literally! They have been beaten with hammers, loaded and dropped from heights and stabbed through the retention system without being taken down. Our continuous web retention system and Cordura® over travel stop means that a tear or break is confined to that area and does not affect the rest of the system, so your gear will continue to run when you need it most. Rest assured though, if you manage to break it we will replace it. Life time, No B.S.

    I had two of these made, one for a Glock 19 and one for Glock 42 mags. They are fantastical made and I will probably never need another OWB mag holster for either of these guns. These are mostly for range work and I use a few different mags for the Glock 42 because the standard mag only holds 6 rounds, these fit them all the mags just fine. The holster fits snug to my body and the weight carries nicely on my waist line and really is comfortable to wear all day. The color is amazing and retention is simply better then anything else I have used. For this price it’s really a steal.

    Mags are held firmly in place and are easy too extract a little more material would make them feel more secure on my hip

    I continue to purchase and appreciate Dara products. This Double Mag Carrier is among 3 holsters, and 4 single mag carriers that I have previously purchased from the Company. My mags fit securely yet with swift access. The paddle clip provides fast on/off with rock solid stability. The Double Mag Carrier works especially well along side multiple Single Carriers when you need the flexibility of 4 or 5 magazines at the ready.
