Dara Concealment System (DCS)

The Dara Concealment System is one firearm-specific holster system that can be configured four different ways. Carry it appendix, strong-side IWB, as an appendix rig with a detachable magazine carrier, or convert the same holster body for concealed OWB carry.

The DCS was designed for people who may need to change how they carry without changing to a completely different holster. The firearm stays in the same DCS holster body while the system is reconfigured around your carry position.

One Holster Body. Four Carry Configurations.

The DCS can be configured for:

• Appendix IWB (AIWB) – Carry the firearm inside the waistband in the appendix position.
• Strong-Side IWB – Configure the same holster for traditional inside-the-waistband carry.
• Appendix Rig – Attach the detachable magazine carrier to carry the firearm and a spare magazine together.
• Concealable OWB – Convert the system for outside-the-waistband carry while keeping the holster positioned close to the body.

You do not need four different firearm-specific holster bodies to move between these configurations. The DCS is designed so the same holster can be reconfigured as your carry needs change.

Built Around Your Firearm

The DCS is not a universal-fit concealment holster. Dara does not determine firearm compatibility by looking at photographs or comparing published dimensions.

When we add support for a firearm, we acquire the firearm, scan it, develop the tooling and manufacture the holster around it. The finished holster is then fit tested with the selected configuration before shipment.

If Dara lists your firearm as compatible with the DCS, it is because we have verified the fit.

Designed to Help Reduce Printing

Concealing a handgun involves more than putting the holster inside your waistband. The position and angle of the pistol grip can have a major effect on how much the firearm prints through clothing.

Billet Aluminum Concealment Claw

The DCS uses a precision-machined aluminum concealment claw. As the belt presses against the claw, it helps rotate the pistol grip toward the body to reduce printing.

The claw is machined from aluminum to provide a rigid contact point between the holster and belt.

Adjustable Ride Height & Cant

The DCS allows you to adjust how high the firearm sits and the angle at which it rides. These adjustments allow you to configure the holster around your carry position, clothing and preferred draw angle.

Rather than being locked into one position, you can change the setup as you move between appendix, strong-side IWB and other DCS configurations.

Adjustable Sweat Shield

The sweat shield can be configured based on your preference, allowing you to choose how much material sits between the firearm and your body.

Detachable Magazine Carrier

The DCS can be converted into a complete appendix rig by attaching the magazine carrier. When you do not want to carry the magazine carrier, it can be removed and the DCS can be used as a standalone holster.

The magazine carrier uses Tegris and Squadron materials as part of its hybrid construction and is designed to work across multiple magazine platforms.

This means the magazine carrier is part of the DCS system rather than permanently locking the holster into an appendix-rig configuration.

Convert from IWB to Concealable OWB

The DCS can also be converted from an inside-the-waistband setup to a concealable outside-the-waistband configuration.

The firearm remains in the same firearm-specific holster body. The system is reconfigured for OWB carry, allowing you to change carry methods without purchasing another holster for the same pistol.

Why Build a Convertible Concealment System?

How you need to carry can change even when your firearm does not.

You may prefer appendix carry for everyday use, strong-side IWB with different clothing, an appendix rig when you want to carry a spare magazine, or OWB when the situation allows it.

The DCS was designed so changing how you carry does not necessarily mean changing holsters.
