Solid holster from DARA

This is my first purchase from Dara holsters. I’m a retired police sergeant and assistant, SWAT team leader, so I spent my career working with different types of retention holsters on various types of missions. This is an early review. I’ve completed one Range day and about 300 rounds out of this holster along with daily dry fire. It just took me a couple of repetitions to get the retention down, and so far I’m very happy with it. It’s intuitive and a simple mechanism. I use the quick loop attachment on a battle belt, and the adjustments are very simple. Attaching the leg strap was easy enough, and so far I’m entirely pleased with the purchase and the performance of the holster. I don’t run missions anymore, but I still train and I still teach, so I’m glad to find this holster.

Bail size

I had to remove the beaver tail on my g45 for the holsters bail to close all the way. Maybe just make the bail a little larger or put a recess in it. Other than that, great product!

Lvl 2 holster

Fits like a glove and is sturdy. Kinda wish it had an optics cover so the elements stay off but not a big deal.

Excellent holster

Dara knocked it out of the park with this one. I have an IWB holster from them, which prompted me to look into them for a holster for my battle belt. Definitely in no way disappointed with what I received; the quality of the product is amazingly high, can definitely tell this is a product that will last for a long time.
