LIGHT BEARING LEVEL 2 DUTY HOLSTER

Perhaps the best holster I have owned. Bought two holsters, one for my FN-X 45 and one for my FN 509. Both weapons fit very well and the holster and QD system are very comfortable to wear. Response time from customer service was quick and they were very helpful in helping me select both configurations. The retention feel very secure and the thumb button to release the retension hood is essy to operate and places your thumb in a position to transition to the thumb safety (FNX) in a natural way. I'll definitly be getting more holsters from them in the future.

The level 2 light bearing holster is so good, I spent so much money going through other holster manufacturers in the past and was never really amazed. I decided to try out dara and man I’m glad I did. The retention is amazing and the holster contours perfectly to my setup (Walther PDP pro SD 4.6 compact, tlr7-x, Osight XR). Not only is the holster absolutely beautiful and perfectly crafted but I literally ordered on a Saturday and they made, quality checked, shipped the holster and it was in my mailbox the following Saturday. For a left handed shooter the market isn’t great lol but dara absolutely delivered and I couldn’t be happier. I checked compatibility before ordering and Samantha got back to me at lightning speed letting me know there is help for wrong handed people with a quirky setup like me (she just confirmed compatibility for me, in a very professional way). My level two duty holster is everything that I could have wanted in a holster. Took it to the range the day after I got it and put it through some dynamic training paces. When I got home, I ordered another holster from them along with a level two control kit. I don’t know if I will use the control kit. The thumb drive was easy to find and worked flawlessly. Look forward to recommending them to my shooting friends.

I'm relatively new to firearms and have had my pistol for a little over a year. Most of the ranges around where I live will not allow drawing from a holster so when I finally found a training facility that allowed it I was excited. I did a lot of research. A LOT OF RESEARCH and I came across Dara. Then I started my research on them. I kind of knew that I had decided on a pretty good set up but I was really happy when I showed up to my very first combat pistol class and brought out my rig for evaluation and got an impressive response from the more seasoned shooters. I'm not one of those guys that wants to be Gucci'd down or in it for the show. I wanted a quality rig that will last me for quite some time and it seems that is exactly what I got. My Kore Essentials belt, Dara holster and Dara mag carriers served its purpose and then some. The draw from The holster was smooth every single time. The auto retention of the mag carriers was outstanding. From what I've seen, if you're new to the whole draw from a holster thing or a seasoned Firearms Handler, you can't go wrong with Dara anything. I can't wait for their Auto retention AR mag to drop. I will definitely be getting a couple of those.

I've been running a Safariland level 3 for my m18. I've shelved it for now due to recent concerns with the pistol. My edc is a Sig X Macro Comp. Why not use it for a duty gun. I actually shoot better with it, same capacity, i found an awesome large window optic with rmsc foot print (Osight SE). I've searched high and low for a good level 2 or level 3 holster for my Sig Sauer X Macro Comp. I've found it here. I really didn't have high expectations. I run a tlr 7a. It was built and shipped within a week!!! When I opened the package I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. Attention to detail matters. It fits and draws beautifully. I was half expecting a cheesy optic hood. It's solid. Well built, flips down very quick and keeps the pistol secure. I also added the adapter to run the safariland mid ride belt mount and it mounts up very secure. I also have the manual safety on my x macro. It says it will not work with the safety. My pistol will enter the holster and work perfectly as long as the safety is not in the safe position. I am debating getting out my heat gun to try to gain a little extra room. Well done people!
