Walther PDP 5" Level II Duty Holster

The Dara Walther PDP 5" Duty Holster is a Level II retention holster designed for the long-slide 5" Walther PDP. Built for law enforcement, armed security, training and professional use, this configuration also provides an important advantage for shooters and agencies using more than one PDP barrel length: the 5" holster can accommodate the PDP 4", 4.5" and 5".

If you own multiple Walther PDP pistols and want one duty holster that can be used across all three barrel lengths, this is the configuration to choose.

One Holster for the PDP 4", 4.5" and 5"

The PDP 4", PDP 4.5" and PDP 5" share the same corresponding Dara PDP holster body, with barrel and slide length determining how far the pistol extends into the muzzle area of the holster.

Because this 5" version provides enough length for the longest pistol, it can also accommodate the shorter 4" and 4.5" PDP. The shorter pistols simply leave additional unused space at the muzzle end of the holster.

This makes the 5" configuration a practical option for individual users, departments and agencies that need to accommodate multiple PDP barrel lengths without purchasing a different holster body for each length.

Level II Retention

The Dara Level II Duty Holster combines adjustable passive retention with an active rotating retention hood. The hood is operated with the thumb during the draw, providing an additional mechanical level of firearm retention while maintaining a consistent draw sequence.

Passive retention can be adjusted independently to change the resistance on the firearm during the draw and when reholstering.

Optics Ready for Duty Setups

The PDP 5" Duty Holster is optics ready and provides clearance for suppressor-height sights. Regular and Tall retention hood options are available for different optic configurations, including larger enclosed-emitter optics when the appropriate hood is selected.

Built for Professional Use

The holster body is manufactured from .125" Kydex or Boltaron and uses black oxide stainless steel hardware, EPDM passive retention components and durable injection-molded components. The holster is compatible with Dara duty mounting systems for configuring ride height, cant and belt attachment according to the user's equipment requirements.
