Capability: The Dara Automatic retention is just how it sounds, it retains a wide variety of magazines ranging from single stack 1911 to the new double stack micro compacts and back up to the extra large 2011 and double stack 45 magazines. Different magazine lengths are also accommodated with the 3 position adjustable internal depth plate. 

Durability: We've thrown everything we can at these carriers, literally! They have been beaten with hammers, loaded and dropped from heights and stabbed through the retention system without being taken down. Our continuous web retention system and Cordura® over travel stop means that a tear or break is confined to that area and does not affect the rest of the system, so your gear will continue to run when you need it most. Rest assured though, if you manage to break it we will replace it. Life time, No B.S.

    Worth buying for sure. It was tough to get on with the DM2 Molle, at first. That was a combo of a new duty belt and the DM2 being solid. Once on it’s not going to come off or loosen up. The mags stay solid in the pouch in either orientation. I have P320-17 rd mags and they fit great without any adjustment. They don’t stick up too high but enough that you can grab them easily. The retention is great. I highly recommend buying this mag carrier.

    This is a great double mag carrier. I have a single and just wanted to add a double to my belt to see how it goes. I may end up changing these back to two singles with a quick loop on each, but love the quality workmanship, the camo colors available and the very professional packaging that this comes in. It's excellent stuff and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more as needed as I know what I'm getting from this great team.

    Being a former Infantry man used lots of belts and mag pouches spent the money because wanted something that would hold up. Packaging was great way nicer then we the people or Amazon adding a sticker would always help spread the brand would have thrown it on the range bag. Super slick look ran some drill works great but the webbing around it is already kinda lose which I don't know is normal or not but overall the best looking and Functioning holster I have had.

    This mag holster is incredible! I just opened my shipping container and in a matter of minutes slid everything from 9mm single stacks to 10mm and .45 double stacks and they all fit great! It looks cool too! I don't buy any holster unless Dara makes it and I won't ever need to buy another mag carrier again unless I want another one of these.

    I’m telling everyone that will listen about these mag pouches! I just received my second, double mag pouch and I intend to stack them next to each other on my belt. I’m even letting friends run them during trainings I’m not attending or don’t need more than three mags for. I really appreciate being able to set the height of each magazine independently from each other. Because of the way they are attached to each other, I don’t believe you are able to cant them at extreme angles like I see others do. However, their single mag pouch should do the trick if that’s what you’re looking for. In all honesty though, I rarely can’t any of my stuff so I haven’t really tried to do it, so I could be wrong about that. The retention on them is crazy. Almost to the point where when I got my first one, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. The mag felt super difficult to remove, but with any kind of adrenaline pumping, they come out no problem. These things will absolutely not budge in any kind of move and shoot situation and there is nothing better than moving around and knowing your equipment is exactly where it should be. As far as attachments. I went with the double loop for both. It’s unfortunate that you have to pay extra for that when it seems to be the standard for most other companies, but I get it. Plus, DARA has so many other options, it’s probably a good thing that the double loop isn’t the standard. With the double loop, you can probably get a little additional cant because of the options for screw placements, but mine are always straight up. What I truly appreciate is the little size adjusters on the bottom. I train with different belts of different sizes and all I have to do is adjust the screws up or down and it fits like a glove every time. It only makes sense that DARA makes a mag pouch that can accommodate multiple sized belts since their mag pouches accommodate multiple sized mags. This is truly an amazing mag pouch. If you have any doubts, hopefully this puts you over to the “Buy” side. I have yet to be even slightly disappointed.
