Introducing the Automatic Retention Magazine Carrier

Capability: The Dara Automatic retention is just how it sounds, it retains a wide variety of magazines ranging from single stack 1911 to the new double stack micro compacts and back up to the extra large 2011 and double stack 45 magazines. Different magazine lengths are also accommodated with the 3 position adjustable internal depth plate. 

Durability: We've thrown everything we can at these carriers, literally! They have been beaten with hammers, loaded and dropped from heights and stabbed through the retention system without being taken down. Our continuous web retention system and Cordura® over travel stop means that a tear or break is confined to that area and does not affect the rest of the system, so your gear will continue to run when you need it most. Rest assured though, if you manage to break it we will replace it. Life time, No B.S.

    Got the carbon fiber version and the pouches look fantastic. They hold the magazines perfectly. Quality and finish are great. Very well made.

    Comfortable and light weight. Only suggestion is to make the mags just a TOUCH tighter in pocket.

    Super high quality product that fits snug and secure on belt. Adjustable tension of mag carrier holds gray and form fits perfectly! Would highly recommended this American made equiptment

    Great fit! Great customer service. Paddle on holster didn’t fit me correctly ,so they sent out a belt attachment at no cost . Problem fixed!!!

    This magazine carrier is very well made and is constructed of sturdy materials. I would prefer to have the magazine pouches mounted approximately 1/2”-1” higher on the mounting plate to facilitate smoother indexing during reloads. DARA: Hi Mark, thank you for your feedback! To get a higher mounting position, we recommend swapping the double mag carrier's backing plate for two single loops to make the mag carriers separate. This will position them higher on the belt for faster reloads!

    I ordered the double mag carriers for all my competition guns/mags (I shoot primarily IDPA). They have an ideal spacing between the two mags and are at a perfect distance from the body. One can grab the mags quickly and securely and the grip on them is right the first time. This makes for easy, consistent and fast reloads. Good stuff!

    This works very well, and is set up to allow either the front or rear magazine to be grabbed, in case you miss the front one on the first grab.
