Description

The Dara Level 2 Duty Holster is designed for law enforcement, military personnel, armed security professionals, and civilian shooters requiring active retention. Our Level 2 Holster combines active hood retention with adjustable passive retention. The firearm remains secured until the hood release is intentionally activated by the user. Unlike other "Retention OWB holsters" that merely add a third party rotating hood, our level 2 holster integrates advanced retention features and durable construction, designed in house and backed by a lifetime guarantee.

Built from .125" Kydex or Boltaron, purpose-blended polymer injection molded components and assembled with Black Oxide coated stainless steel hardware, this holster ensures unbeatable strength and longevity in any environment- guaranteed.
Retention System
Customize the draw stroke to your preference with the passive EPDM rubber retention, the active retention hood locks firmly in place until you activate the thumb lever—enabling a quick, smooth release. To customize the thumb lever, see our Level 2 Control Kit.
Optics & Sight Compatibility
Our holsters are designed to accommodate most slide-mounted optics and suppressor-height sights, ensuring versatility for various duty or tactical setups. The REGULAR HOOD can accommodate optics up to 1.2" tall when measured from the top of the slide to the top of the optic. Anything taller, will require the LARGE HOOD. If your optic measures in between, we recommend sizing up. For the Trijicon SRO and RMR HD, please check the box for deeper optic cut.
Customizable Drop & Cant
Adjust the ride height and cant angles on our belt attachments for optimal comfort and draw efficiency. Add an optional leg strap for extra stability, especially during high-intensity operations. Our DBL2 & DBL2-L Attachments allow for a 10° forward and 10° backwards cant angle adjustment.
Attachment Options
Choose from our numerous belt attachments and drops, including the DBL2 or DBL2-L Attachment Systems. Both options provide clearance for body armor and a natural draw stroke, making this level 2 holster ideal for professional use. All attachments accommodate belt widths measuring 1.5" - 2.25".

Holster was A1 top quality and made for a lifetime of service only think didn't like is there shold be a pad on the back lower portion to help holster from rubbing plastic on your leg and help support gun from pointing towards your leg I think it should point straight down much as possible and strap should be more sturdy/thick so strap doesn't crinkle @ loop. Thanks.

I was skeptical ordering a holster online without seeing one like it in person. Glad I took the chance. It was delivered a lot sooner than I expected due to it being made only after ordering. Fit my OSP perfectly. The open bottom easily allows for a comp to be fitted on the barrel. Held my pistol securely right out of the box. Held it upside down and tried to shake the pistol out. Holster held tight. Not going to hesitate to order one for my 1911.

Very nice holster. My 1911 pistol fits nice and snug. Only wish they made these holsters for 1911 with rails. Would recommend to anyone in LE and security .

Not a lot of options for a duty holster to fit a P10C w/ RDS. I was not familiar with Dara holsters previously and decided to order one. Received it a little over a week after ordering. I've neen using Safeiland duty holsters for 27 years, so I was apprehensive about trying an unknown. I shouldn't have been...this is an excellent piece of gear.

I have a hard time finding gear that fits my Walther Creed. I was excited to see this company makes customized holsters and offered it for my pistol. I’m the type who prefers to have what I’m going to buy be tangible, but I took a chance and I’m glad I did.

This product is soo freak'n awesome, love at first sight upon opening it in total excitement. Talk about raising the BAR, well this is, exactly what I was looking for as for being able to adjust to my grip, and pull from holster, excellent, love the lock and cover band on it as it fits perfectly in the holster for my FN 509 tactical 9mm with a very smooth draw with very little resistance when doing so. NAILED it here folks, just awesome and loving it. Thank you Kelly L. Stitzel SFC RET US ARMY, ps anyway you can send me sum stickers for my Man Cave frig and freezer??????
