Don't make the same mistake I did! I forgot to specify that I use a left handed mag-release on my PPQ (with the mag release button on the right-hand side of the grip.) Consequently, whenever I holstered my pistol the mag would jump out! Fortunately, the great folks at Dara's kindly fixed my problem quickly and at no extra charge. Great holster, holds my pistol nice and snug and tough enough to hold up when it lives in my range bag.

I shopped long and hard before deciding on Dara Holsters. I exchanged emails with the company and they responded quickly. I liked the personalized customer service. They made six custom holsters for me and every one of them was perfect. And all this for less than the cost of a mass produced holster. Quality takes time. There is a lead time, but that is to be expected with a custom holster. These holsters are well worth the wait.

Best duty holster I have had to date. Fit like a glove right out of the box. Excellent trigger guard coverage and the retention mechanism is adjustable to your taste. Perfection! Way to go Dara. Keep up the good work. Those who uphold the laws of our nation are grateful for quality like this.

This holster is very stiff and does not flex like other kydex brands. The craftsmanship is top notch and the belt attachment is really solid. The level-II strap has just the right amount resistance behind it to draw the pistol with ease and still retain the firearm. Highly recommend this product.
Level 2 duty holster for HK VP40 5

I needed a duty holster for my HK VP40 and ran across Dara Holsters. I selected the mid ride option and the TLR 1 HL options as well. It did take a while for me to get the holster (5 weeks) but that's because they make the holster just for your gun. The holster fits perfect on my 1.75 inch 5.11 rigger belt. With the gun in the holster it was super light and almost feels like its not even on my hip. The gun makes absolutely no noise in the holster. It is very secure, and the retention is tight but the thimb break is not difficult. Overall 5/5 product and I'm very satisfied.

Ordered a custom holster for my Sig M11 A1. Not a common pistol, so I felt like I was taking a chance on it fitting just so. I needn't have worried. The fit was perfect. It was like they had my pistol at their shop and custom fit the holster. If your pistol is not a common one, be sure to list any special features and include a photo. Also, I was concerned about the estimated wait time. How long would it really take? But they were spot on there too. Not to mention made in the USA. What more could you want? I will be ordering one for every pistol I have.

My employer required a minimum of level II holster - I could not find one for my S&W Shield with laser. Only one available was from Dara. It took a few weeks, but was expected. I received it last week and it works great - Solid construction. Feels like it will last a lifetime.
