Level 2 Retention Duty Holster for Glock 19

The Dara Level 2 Retention Duty Holster for Glock 19 is a right-hand OWB duty holster built for law enforcement, military, armed security and professional users who require active firearm retention. Each holster is formed around Dara's firearm-specific Glock mold to provide a consistent fit, secure retention and repeatable draw.

The holster body is manufactured from rugged .125" purpose-blended polymer and assembled with blackened stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance and durability during regular duty use.

Level 2 retention combines Dara's adjustable passive retention system with our thumb-activated rotating retention hood. The hood provides an active mechanical barrier over the rear of the slide and is released during the draw using an intuitive thumb-operated lever. Dara's adjustable rubber retention system allows resistance on the firearm to be increased or decreased to suit the user's preferred draw.

Glock 19 Holster Compatibility

This holster is made specifically around the Glock 19 holster-body geometry. One advantage of the Glock platform is that several models share the same basic frame and holster dimensions, allowing certain Glock models to use the same Dara holster body.

Within Dara's Gen 3-4 Glock fit family, the following models share the same holster body and length:

• Glock 19 Gen 3-4
• Glock 23 Gen 3-4
• Glock 32 Gen 3-4

Within the corresponding Gen 5/current-generation Glock fit family, the Glock 19 shares its Dara holster body and length with:

• Glock 19
• Glock 19X
• Glock 45

Generation matters. When Glock introduced the Gen 5, Dara identified small dimensional changes from the Gen 4 platform that affected fit in a closely molded holster. This experience was one of the reasons Dara began producing our own firearm molds rather than relying on third-party molding forms. Select your actual Glock generation when ordering so your holster is formed for the correct firearm geometry.

Weapon Lights, Compensators & Aftermarket Glock Parts

This is a non-light-bearing Glock 19 duty holster. It is not designed for pistols equipped with weapon lights, lasers or other rail-mounted accessories.

Glock also has an extensive aftermarket parts ecosystem. Dara cannot guarantee fit with aftermarket frames, slides, compensators, thumb rests, oversized controls or other components that change the firearm's external dimensions unless the configuration has been confirmed with us first.

Compensators that remain equal to or smaller than the slide/frame profile may fit depending on their dimensions and the available muzzle clearance. Contact Dara before ordering if your Glock 19 has a compensator or other external modification.

Polymer80 and Shadow Systems pistols should not be ordered as Glock 19 pistols. Their external frame geometry differs from an OEM Glock and they fit better in holsters made specifically around their respective firearm dimensions.
