Level 2 Retention Duty Holster for Glock 34

The Dara Level 2 Retention Duty Holster for Glock 34 is a right-hand OWB retention holster built around the longer-slide Glock 34 platform. Designed for law enforcement, military, armed security and other professional applications, the holster provides active Level 2 retention while maintaining a consistent, repeatable draw.

The holster body is manufactured from rugged .125" purpose-blended polymer and assembled with blackened stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance and durability during regular use.

Level 2 retention combines Dara's adjustable passive retention system with a thumb-activated rotating retention hood. The hood creates an active mechanical barrier over the rear of the slide and is released during the draw using an intuitive thumb-operated lever. The adjustable rubber retention system allows the user to independently fine-tune resistance on the firearm.

Glock 34 Holster Compatibility

The Glock 34 belongs to Dara's broader standard-frame Glock holster family. One of the defining differences between the Glock 34 and shorter pistols in this family is its extended slide length.

Within Dara's Gen 2-4 Glock holster system, the Glock 34 shares basic holster-body geometry with models including:

• Glock 26 / 27 / 33
• Glock 19 / 23 / 32
• Glock 17 / 22 / 31
• Glock 34
• Glock 24

These models use different slide lengths. A holster manufactured long enough for a longer compatible Glock can therefore accommodate certain shorter pistols within the same holster-body family, leaving additional space toward the muzzle.

For the Glock 34 specifically, always select the correct model and generation offered in the firearm menu rather than assuming that every Glock sharing the general frame geometry will fit every Glock 34 holster configuration.

Glock 35 compatibility is generation-dependent. Gen 5 Glock 35 is excluded from this fit.

Dara also separates Glock generations where dimensional differences affect fit. When Gen 5 pistols were introduced, we identified subtle dimensional changes that became apparent in closely molded holsters. Dara subsequently moved to producing our own firearm molds, giving us direct control over the geometry used to form each holster.

This is a non-light-bearing Glock 34 duty holster. It is not designed for firearms equipped with weapon lights, lasers or other rail-mounted accessories.

Dara cannot guarantee fit with aftermarket Glock frames, slides, compensators, thumb rests, oversized controls or other components that change the firearm's exterior dimensions unless the exact configuration has been confirmed with us first.

Compensators equal to or smaller than the slide/frame profile may fit depending on the compensator dimensions and available muzzle clearance. Contact Dara before ordering if your Glock 34 has external modifications.

Polymer80 and Shadow Systems firearms should not be ordered as Glock models. These platforms have their own external geometry and should use holsters designed around the actual firearm.
