The main advantage of a paddle holster is convenience. Unlike OWB belt-loop attachments that require the belt to be removed or unthreaded, the Dara Paddle allows the complete holster to be installed or removed while the belt stays in place.

Our paddle is intentionally smaller than many traditional industry-standard paddle attachments. Dara designed the attachment with a compact profile that allows the holster to ride tighter to the belt and closer to the body rather than relying on an oversized paddle behind the belt.

The Dara Paddle is designed for 1.5" to 1.75" EDC belts, creating a secure interface between the holster, belt and body while maintaining the quick-removal advantage of a paddle holster.

Built Around Your Firearm

The Dara OWB Paddle Holster is not a universal pistol holster. Each holster body is manufactured around the selected firearm using firearm-specific tooling.

Differences in the slide, frame, trigger guard, barrel length and other firearm dimensions can affect holster fit and retention. Building the holster around the selected handgun allows Dara to control how the firearm seats, retains and draws from the holster.

This gives you the convenience of a paddle attachment without sacrificing the firearm-specific construction of the holster itself.

Adjustable Retention

The OWB Paddle Holster includes adjustable retention, allowing the user to increase or decrease draw resistance based on personal preference.

Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all retention setting, the holster can be adjusted to achieve the draw resistance that works best for the individual user.

Optics Ready With a Taller Sight Channel

Every Dara OWB Paddle Holster is optics ready and designed to accommodate most common slide-mounted red-dot sights.

The holster also features a taller sight channel accommodating sights up to .5" tall, providing clearance for many suppressor-height and co-witness sight configurations.

For firearms using an optic positioned farther forward on the slide, such as certain Trijicon SRO or RMR HD configurations, select the appropriate deeper optic cut when available.

Dara Proprietary Attachment Pattern

Although this holster comes standard with the Dara Paddle Attachment only, the holster body retains Dara's proprietary attachment hole pattern.

This means choosing the Paddle Holster does not permanently limit the holster body to a paddle. The same mounting pattern allows the holster to accept applicable Dara attachments and mounting systems if your setup changes later.
