Walther PDP 4.5" Level II Duty Holster
The Dara Walther PDP 4.5" Duty Holster is a Level II retention holster built for the full-size 4.5" Walther PDP. Designed for duty, law enforcement, armed security and professional range use, the holster provides active and adjustable passive retention in a durable thermoformed holster body.
The 4.5" PDP sits between the compact 4" and long-slide 5" PDP, but you do not necessarily need three separate holsters if you own multiple barrel lengths. Dara's corresponding PDP holster body can accommodate the PDP 4", 4.5" and 5" when the 5" holster length is selected.
Level II Retention
The Dara Level II system uses an active rotating hood over the firearm combined with adjustable passive retention. The hood is operated with the thumb during the draw, while the passive retention system can be adjusted to the user's preferred resistance.
The holster is manufactured from .125" Kydex or Boltaron with black oxide stainless steel hardware, EPDM passive retention components and injection-molded components. Every Dara Duty Holster is manufactured in the USA and fit tested before leaving our facility.
Built for Duty Optics
The Walther PDP 4.5" Duty Holster is optics ready with clearance for suppressor-height sights. Regular and Tall retention hood options allow the holster to accommodate different optic sizes and configurations, including larger enclosed-emitter optics when the appropriate hood is selected.
Can a PDP 4", 4.5" and 5" Use the Same Holster?
Yes. The PDP 4", PDP 4.5" and PDP 5" can use the same corresponding Dara PDP holster body when you select a holster long enough for the longest pistol.
If you only carry the PDP 4.5", this configuration gives you a holster cut for the 4.5" pistol. If you also own a PDP 5", choose the 5" holster instead. Your 4.5" PDP can use the longer holster, allowing one holster to serve both pistols. A PDP 4" can also be used in the 5" configuration.
