LIGHT BEARING IWB HOLSTER

Before I ordered my latest holster, I had ordered twice before (one was with the 7.5° angle and the second one was no angle). Each time I ordered the high rise selection based on what their website showed in their video (the location of the belt clip to the trigger guard area). I didn’t exam to make sure it matched until recently as it just didn’t occur to me that even though the package said “high rise” it should still be checked. For my latest order in order to get what’s showed on the website, it took direct communication with one of the customer service reps who told me in the order form to tell production staff to refer to this email exchange to get what I was looking for. It might sound crazy, but I should have gotten that the first time I ordered the high rise option without extensive guidance to their production division.

The holster is of great quality, but maybe double check what you get with what you believe you ordered.

This holster fits and retains the pistol very well. Materials appear strong and it is well finished. I have several Dara holsters and they all are quality products.

I usually don’t do reviews but for DARA I just simply had to. Completely blown away by the quality and precision of their holsters. This is exactly what quality American craftsmanship is all about! Couldn’t be happier with my holsters and will most definitely recommend to anyone and everyone I know.

I hadn't heard of Dara, but I was on a search for a specific application that I knew wouldn't give me endless choices. Full-size 5" pistol with a red dot and a weapon mounted light. Dara's website seemed to have every combination you can imagine, and made it easy to determine they had what I needed. Many other manufacturers MIGHT have what I needed,, but their websites made it difficult or seemingly impossible to find it. Ten stars for the website. The holster fits my gun and its accessories perfectly and seems to be very well made. Considering this weapon is as big and complex as a Howitzer on wheels, the holster is a sleek and compact as it can possibly be. Zero extra bulk. Time will tell, but so far I'm very pleased. And all at a reasonable price point. An easy 5 stars.

Excellent product and good quality

I knew that this appendix iwb Dara holster did not come with a built in kydex wedge like my Tenicor velo4 appendix holster I use for my Glock 48, so I bought a foam concealment wedge from Black Arch holsters to add to this Dara holster. I tested before and after, and the 3rd party wedge was the right call. It places a twist on to the pistol so that the grip is kept closer to your torso instead of prominently printing through your shirt. The Glock 20 is a duty sized pistol, so concealing it iwb needs a few tricks unless you want to constantly dress around the gun in thick, oversized clothing. Overall, I am pleased to have this Dara holster because they are one of the few companies which bothers to make a concealment holster for the Glock 20 with a light. Tenicor doesn't make one for the G20 at all, and they have zero interest in ever supporting it. I would give the Dara holster the full five stars if it incorporated a wedge natively molded into the kydex itself. Otherwise the fit and finish is excellent.
