Full-Size M&P Fitment for the TLR-1 Series

The five-inch M&P M2.0 uses a longer slide than the 4.25-inch model, making muzzle coverage and firearm selection important. This configuration is intended for the supported 5" polymer-frame M&P M2.0 9mm and corresponding .40 S&W models equipped with a compatible TLR-1 series light.

It is not intended for the M&P Metal, TLR-7, or SureFire X300 configurations.

Why Use a Dedicated Light-Bearing Holster?

The mounted TLR-1 changes the dimensions of the handgun and affects how it enters and seats in the holster. A standard OWB holster cannot be used with the mounted light. Dara develops its supported light-bearing fitments around the actual firearm and weapon-light configuration.

Will this fit an M&P M2.0 4.25"?

Select the dedicated 4.25" configuration for that firearm rather than assuming the 5" model provides identical fit and retention.

Can I use a TLR-7X with this holster?

No. The TLR-7X uses a different housing and requires the corresponding TLR-7 A/X holster fitment.

Does this holster have an active retention hood?

No. This OWB holster uses adjustable passive retention. Dara offers separate Level 2 retention holsters for supported duty applications.
