OWB HOLSTER

Excellent quality; almost too many options for configuration (in a good way), all at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I sought out what I believed to be every source possible for a OWB holster for my S+W 9mmC with a factory installed Crimson Trace laser. I even called the S+W customer support line to no avail. I couldn't believe that I had bought a firearm that had no holster for it on the market. I reached out to a couple of S+W Owners online groups that I belong to and received a suggestion that I contact Dara. It took about 5 weeks to manufacture and receive the holster, which is a perfect fit for the weapon. From my initial call to Dara to receipt of the merchandise, it was a 5-Star experience. This company is run by and employs customer-centric professionals. I will go to them for all future holster needs. In this world of lack of service, it's great to see a company that still provides aggressive customer service and stands behind their products with a lifetime warranty.

I was having trouble finding a decent hip holster for my G40. I knew that for a gun of that size, a good holster would be the deciding factor in whether or not I would be comfortable while carrying it on long hikes.

I reasearched DARA and decided they were the solution to my problem. I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of decisions I had to make while ordering my holster but I found all the information I needed within the DARA website to make informed choices. I also appreciate that they are upfront about the wait time.

I compared my DARA holster to my 1911 holster, which is from a well known manufacturer at a similar price point. I can honestly say that my DARA holster simply feels better. The materials, the fit, even the texture just feels like higher quality and better craftsmanship.

I held off on writing this review until I had a chance to try out my holster on one of my hikes. In a nutshell, it performed as I hoped it would.

DARA has become my go-to company for holsters. I feel that a longer wait time for higher quality is well worth it.

I had purchased a G43 which I subsequently customized with a laser light and an extended slide release. I was in need of an OWB holster and did some research. I settled on Dara Holsters based on reviews, product made in the US and the lifetime warranty. I included a photo of the glock but was not sure they would meet my needs. Was I ever surprised. The holster was delivered right on time. It 'fit like a glove'. Dara is a class act. Top grade materials, meeting their commitment time frame and made in the USA! All is good.

Leather or Kydex, the Dara holster which I received is the best of any I've seen or tried. Mine is an OWB with a single belt loop which is fixed. The holster fits the gun and light exactly, is minimalistic in design, and I customized it to be just as I wanted. It is the gold standard for me. The only thing that I would change is to have a belt attachment that is adjustable like the Blade-Tech Tec-Lok. My solution for the Dara was to buy an inexpensive single blade attachment for my smaller belt size, which I can screw on to replace the larger belt loop attachment. I have already ordered another holster in a different color from Dara.

I choose cross draw OWB with 30 degree reverse cant for ease of use in seated positions. Holster is extremely comfortable for long periods of time. Double loop allows adding or subtracting 15 degrees to the cant by moving one of the two mounting screws. I moved to 45 degrees and have no fear that the gun will fall out because the holster has excellent retention. The ride height is also adjustable (very adjustable if the loop is turned 180 degrees) by changing the holes selected for the mounting screws. The double loop can also be worn over a belt loop by placing the belt in the first side of the loop, then under the pants belt loop, and then through the other side of the loop. I have done "show and tell" to all my CCW friends. - - BEST HOLSTER EVER !!!

If you're looking for a great quality holster for a bargain price, you've come to the right place. I have to say the wait was a little longer than I expected and a little longer than was estimated when I ordered. But, the finished product is excellent. It fits my HK VP40 like a glove, has excellent retention and showed up on my door step just as a I had ordered it. I'm left handed and it's hard to find a non-universal holster. Dara is perfect for me. I can definitely see myself coming back to make another purchase.

It took about 3 weeks to get my holster but I am impressed. The fit is perfect and needed almost no adjustment. I bought one to go with my G19 with light attached. Really good quality. I'm going to get another for my CZ.
