Description  

Our Outside the Waistband Holster is the BEST OWB Holster on the market.

Formed using rigid .093" thick Kydex or Boltaron and molded precisely to your exact firearm. Fastened securely using rust resistant Stainless Steel hardware anchored by lock washers, using hardware designed and built specifically for our holsters.

Each OWB Holster is adaptable to an array of belt attachment options. You choose what option works best for you.

The Quick Loop:
The Quick Loop hinges at the top, snaps over and around the belt, and locks into place for a quick on/off solution. The Quick Loop can be adjusted to fit belts with a width of 1.5", 1.75", 2" or 2.25". It also offers adjustable incremental cant angles of -30°, -15°, 0°, 15° and 30°. The Quick Loop is also adaptable to our Drop Offset attachment or DBL2/L used as a drop attachment.

The Double Loop:
The Double Loop is our standard OWB Belt attachment. The belt slides through the double loop on each side and adjusts for belt widths of 1.5", 1.75", 2" or 2.25". The user can adjust the cant angle in increments from -15°, -7.5°, 0°, 7.5° to 15°. It's also adaptable to our ALQD System, Drop Offset attachment and the DBL2/L used as a drop attachment.

The DBL1:
The DBL1 is our newest belt attachment, machined in house from 6061 T6 billet aluminum. This attachment offers a customized fit for belts ranging from 1.5" to 2.25" and an adjustable cant angle of 30° forward to 30° backward. The DBL1 is adaptable to our ALQD system. For a Drop version, see our DBL2 or DBL2-L.

Every OWB Holster features an adjustable rubber retention system. This system allows you to tune your draw resistance using a Philips head screwdriver. Each OWB Holster is test fit and draw weight tested prior to shipment to ensure a perfect fit and retention. When the firearm is fully seated within the holster, the user will hear an audible "click" to indicate that your pistol is secure. At this point you will be able to hold your holster upside down and shake without your firearm dislodging. Should you need a second level of retention, please see our Level 2 Duty Holster. 

We offer our OWB Holster in a light/laser bearing variant for over 300 configurations. Check out our Light bearing OWB Holster if you have a WML on your firearm.

All Dara Holsters, including the OWB Holster, come standard with an optic cut. All holsters come optics ready with a .5" tall sight channel enhanced for co-witness and suppressor height sights. However, if you have a forward sitting optic such as the Trijicon SRO or RMR HD, please check the box on the order form as these optics require a deeper optic cut.

All edges are rounded and polished for a comfortable, snag-free carry.

  • TOP QUALITY & VERY ADJUSTABLE WITH DOUBLE LOOP 5

    I choose cross draw OWB with 30 degree reverse cant for ease of use in seated positions. Holster is extremely comfortable for long periods of time. Double loop allows adding or subtracting 15 degrees to the cant by moving one of the two mounting screws. I moved to 45 degrees and have no fear that the gun will fall out because the holster has excellent retention. The ride height is also adjustable (very adjustable if the loop is turned 180 degrees) by changing the holes selected for the mounting screws. The double loop can also be worn over a belt loop by placing the belt in the first side of the loop, then under the pants belt loop, and then through the other side of the loop. I have done "show and tell" to all my CCW friends. - - BEST HOLSTER EVER !!!

    If you're looking for a great quality holster for a bargain price, you've come to the right place. I have to say the wait was a little longer than I expected and a little longer than was estimated when I ordered. But, the finished product is excellent. It fits my HK VP40 like a glove, has excellent retention and showed up on my door step just as a I had ordered it. I'm left handed and it's hard to find a non-universal holster. Dara is perfect for me. I can definitely see myself coming back to make another purchase.

    It took about 3 weeks to get my holster but I am impressed. The fit is perfect and needed almost no adjustment. I bought one to go with my G19 with light attached. Really good quality. I'm going to get another for my CZ.

    Looking for a holster for Glock 40 mos? I stumbled across Dara while looking for a holster for Glock 40 mos . Took a chance and ordered one. Exactly what I wanted. Price was very reasonable and quality is excellent. There is a wait but it is well worth it. Good folks to do business with.

    How do you make a perfect holster from a picture? My only guess is magic or experience in wizardry. I've bought other kydex holsters from local shops, but the quality is novice at best. From the quality of construction, durability, and fit, this thing is amazing. It is also the reason I have one of Dara's holsters for every pistol I own. For anyone considering one, there is a bit of a wait. With a little patience though, you won't ever need another holster for the same set up. Thanks again everyone.

    Love the two holsters I've purchased, Great fit and lite. Paddle is a bit 'aggressive' and it is hard to insert and withdraw the holder from my jeans. Just takes to long to receive when ordered.

    The holder is great- it has a true custom fit and the quality of the fittings and workmanship is great. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the paddle is a bit 'aggressive' and it is hard to insert and withdraw the holder from my jeans. So the only feedback I would offer is to make the paddle easier to install and remove from one's pants.
