Our Outside the Waistband Holster is the BEST OWB Holster on the market.

Formed using rigid .093" thick Kydex or Boltaron and molded precisely to your exact firearm. Fastened securely using rust resistant Stainless Steel hardware anchored by lock washers, using hardware designed and built specifically for our holsters.

Each OWB Holster is adaptable to an array of belt attachment options. You choose what option works best for you.

The Quick Loop:
The Quick Loop hinges at the top, snaps over and around the belt, and locks into place for a quick on/off solution. The Quick Loop can be adjusted to fit belts with a width of 1.5", 1.75", 2" or 2.25". It also offers adjustable incremental cant angles of -30°, -15°, 0°, 15° and 30°. The Quick Loop is also adaptable to our Drop Offset attachment or DBL2/L used as a drop attachment.

The Double Loop:
The Double Loop is our standard OWB Belt attachment. The belt slides through the double loop on each side and adjusts for belt widths of 1.5", 1.75", 2" or 2.25". The user can adjust the cant angle in increments from -15°, -7.5°, 0°, 7.5° to 15°. It's also adaptable to our ALQD System, Drop Offset attachment and the DBL2/L used as a drop attachment.

The DBL1:
The DBL1 is our newest belt attachment, machined in house from 6061 T6 billet aluminum. This attachment offers a customized fit for belts ranging from 1.5" to 2.25" and an adjustable cant angle of 30° forward to 30° backward. The DBL1 is adaptable to our ALQD system. For a Drop version, see our DBL2 or DBL2-L.

Every OWB Holster features an adjustable rubber retention system. This system allows you to tune your draw resistance using a Philips head screwdriver. Each OWB Holster is test fit and draw weight tested prior to shipment to ensure a perfect fit and retention. When the firearm is fully seated within the holster, the user will hear an audible "click" to indicate that your pistol is secure. At this point you will be able to hold your holster upside down and shake without your firearm dislodging. Should you need a second level of retention, please see our Level 2 Duty Holster.

All Dara Holsters, including the OWB Holster, come standard with an optic cut. All holsters come optics ready with a .5" tall sight channel enhanced for co-witness and suppressor height sights. However, if you have a forward sitting optic such as the Trijicon SRO or RMR HD, please check the box on the order form as these optics require a deeper optic cut.

All edges are rounded and polished for a comfortable, snag-free carry.

    I am new to the Dara line of Kydex holsters and came across them when I was reading a review for a holster for my M&P Shield 9mm handgun. As a owner of other leather and Kydex holsters, I know the benefits of each type and decided to try the Dara holster. When the holster arrived, I noticed how well made the holster was. The fit was perfect for the M&P Shield. It was snug, held the firearm firmly and provided a very smooth draw without any hangups. My other Kydex holster was one that I had purchased from a vendor on EBay and although that one was decent, it's amazing how much better the form and fit is with the slightly thicker kydex that Dara uses. The firmer material makes a big difference with the fit as it's doesn't feel sloppy in any way when drawing and reholstering. I did have a problem with the 1.5" belt loop that I ordered. The loop was perfectly made at 1.5", but my belt was slightly wider (by about 1/16) and this made it very tight to get the holster onto the belt. I emailed the team at Dara and they were on it right away and sent me another belt loop in case the first one was smaller. But it wasn't the loop, but the belt. The team at Dara then sent me a kit with several different belt clips and the J-hook was perfect. I have to give it to the team at Dara. They really stand behind their product to make sure the customers are 100% satisfied. I'm one happy customer and will order again from Dara. Yes, the wait was about 6 weeks, but after seeing the quality and the service, it's well worth the wait! Thanks for a great product. Phil K.

    My new Dara OWB holster fits my Glock 21 Gen4 with a Crimson Trace laser sight attached perfectly. The pistol clicks into place and is held firmly but draws properly with moderate effort. It rides at medium height with FBI tilt on my belt. Craftsmanship is first-rate and all edges are smooth. Well worth waiting for! I've already ordered my third Dara holster.

    Our department issues us our duty weapon (S&W 4006TSW with Sure Fire light) and is the only one we can carry while on-duty. So I have looked for a while for a OWB holster for this weapon with the attached light. It took a little long to get but I understand it is for an older weapon but it was definitely worth the wait.
