Our Outside the Waistband Holster is the BEST OWB Holster on the market.

Formed using rigid .093" thick Kydex or Boltaron and molded precisely to your exact firearm. Fastened securely using rust resistant Stainless Steel hardware anchored by lock washers, using hardware designed and built specifically for our holsters.

Each OWB Holster is adaptable to an array of belt attachment options. You choose what option works best for you.

The Quick Loop:
The Quick Loop hinges at the top, snaps over and around the belt, and locks into place for a quick on/off solution. The Quick Loop can be adjusted to fit belts with a width of 1.5", 1.75", 2" or 2.25". It also offers adjustable incremental cant angles of -30°, -15°, 0°, 15° and 30°. The Quick Loop is also adaptable to our Drop Offset attachment or DBL2/L used as a drop attachment.

The Double Loop:
The Double Loop is our standard OWB Belt attachment. The belt slides through the double loop on each side and adjusts for belt widths of 1.5", 1.75", 2" or 2.25". The user can adjust the cant angle in increments from -15°, -7.5°, 0°, 7.5° to 15°. It's also adaptable to our ALQD System, Drop Offset attachment and the DBL2/L used as a drop attachment.

The DBL1:
The DBL1 is our newest belt attachment, machined in house from 6061 T6 billet aluminum. This attachment offers a customized fit for belts ranging from 1.5" to 2.25" and an adjustable cant angle of 30° forward to 30° backward. The DBL1 is adaptable to our ALQD system. For a Drop version, see our DBL2 or DBL2-L.

Every OWB Holster features an adjustable rubber retention system. This system allows you to tune your draw resistance using a Philips head screwdriver. Each OWB Holster is test fit and draw weight tested prior to shipment to ensure a perfect fit and retention. When the firearm is fully seated within the holster, the user will hear an audible "click" to indicate that your pistol is secure. At this point you will be able to hold your holster upside down and shake without your firearm dislodging. Should you need a second level of retention, please see our Level 2 Duty Holster.

All Dara Holsters, including the OWB Holster, come standard with an optic cut. All holsters come optics ready with a .5" tall sight channel enhanced for co-witness and suppressor height sights. However, if you have a forward sitting optic such as the Trijicon SRO or RMR HD, please check the box on the order form as these optics require a deeper optic cut.

All edges are rounded and polished for a comfortable, snag-free carry.

    I'm very pleased with my Dara OWB holster. Everything is well made and fits nicely to the gun and mounted weapon light (H&K VP40 with Viridian X5L). I really like the magnet that turns on the light/laser as you draw. One less thing to think about when it matters. I didn't know what that was when I ordered the holster so I didn't specify it but they put one on anyway and didn't charge extra for it and even called ahead to make sure I was okay with it there so good on Dara on two counts. One thing I'd advise is either get the double loop belt attachment or just order an assortment of different style clips with the holster. The single clip works fine but a full size gun tends to hang out even with a stiff gun belt. The double loop design hugs my waist much tighter and can even conceal carry with a jacket or long shirt. The holster was shipped well within the 5 week lead time so all around I'm pleased and will be looking to Dara first for any future holster purchases. I should also note that Dara was one of a very short list of manufacturers that made a holster for my newer model gun and light combination.

    Fits gun nicely. OWB mount I chose will make it tough to conceal in warm weather. I ordered an IWB to solve that problem. Easy in and out with nice retention.

    I just recently purchased an HK VP9 and did a lot of searching for a good holster online. Found Dara Holsters, liked the looks so I ordered one. Not disappointed. Color, feel, retention, and fit are great. Rides really nice with the paddle attachment. Very comfortable to carry with. This one won't languish in the drawer with all holsters I've bought and didn't like.

    I recently received this OWB holster with the loop clip and paddle options. Additionally I ordered the open clip as an alternative for use at the range and hunting camp when I may want to quickly put it on or take it off. The build quality and fit is outstanding and is really just what I expected. The sturdiness of each belt attachment option is great and it really provides versatility to this holster. The one thing that disappointed me was that I ordered this holster for an HK P30S. This model P30 has a manual safety lever on each side of the slide. The holster is molded so the firearm only fits with the safety in the off position. I have firearms with no manual safety so I am comfortable not using it. However I purchased this firearm specifically because of the manual safety. It would have been nice to be able to use it. I also have another brand kydex holster that doesn't come up enough to cover the safety and I think that it will end up getting more use. Other than the safety issue the holster awesome quality.

    I discovered Dara Holsters accidentally and what a sweet accident it turned out to be. Never have I encountered a company that accommodated so many gun and light/laser combinations. Dara Holsters is about the only company that offered a quality holster for my gun and light combination. It doesn't get any better than a holster using a thicker kydex with adjustable tension and proper fitment. Actually, it does. Besides using a taco style holster instead of a hobby type pancake holster they offer a variety of mounting options, cant angles, ride heights and all the edges are absolutely smooth! All the hardware is melonite coated and recessed so it never contacts the gun. Attention to detail is defined with Dara products. I can't find a reason to use any other product.

    I enjoy the product very much. It took longer to get to me than was advertised which I didn't enjoy but their customer service is excellent. Other than the wait time, great company. Product is awesome.

    great fit on my crossdraw holster. my one suggestion would be to angle the holster so that the butt of the gun is in tighter to the body.

    It is very difficult to find a decent holster for the PMR-30. Even harder with a laser attached. This fits perfectly and is very well crafted.
