The Dara Staccato HD P4.5 X300U-B Light-Bearing OWB Holster is designed specifically for the Staccato HD P4.5 equipped with a SureFire X300U-B weapon-mounted light. Built for range use, training and outside-the-waistband carry, this holster provides a dedicated firearm-and-light-specific fit with adjustable passive retention, optics compatibility and Dara's modular attachment pattern.

The HD P4.5 belongs to Staccato's newer HD family and uses different firearm geometry from earlier Staccato models. The addition of the X300U-B also affects the dimensions required by a light-bearing holster. Dara therefore develops this configuration around the complete Staccato HD P4.5 + SureFire X300U-B setup rather than relying on a universal Staccato, 2011 or X300 holster profile.

Built for the Staccato HD P4.5 with X300U-B

The Staccato HD P4.5 uses a 4.5" sight-block barrel configuration. The holster is formed around the supported HD P4.5 with the X300U-B installed to provide the intended firearm clearance, retention and draw characteristics.

Each supported configuration is fit tested before shipment to verify proper fit. Select the exact firearm and weapon light when ordering rather than determining compatibility from the Staccato family or weapon-light model alone.

Optics Ready

The Staccato HD P4.5 X300U-B OWB Holster is optics ready and provides clearance for compatible slide-mounted red dot sights. A taller sight channel also accommodates suppressor-height sights commonly used with optic-equipped pistols.

This allows a supported HD P4.5 to be carried with the X300U-B, compatible pistol optic and taller sights in the same holster configuration.

Adjustable Passive Retention

Adjustable passive retention allows the user to increase or decrease the amount of resistance experienced during the draw. This lets you fine-tune the holster to your preferred draw resistance while maintaining secure retention of the supported HD P4.5 and X300U-B combination.

OWB Carry for the HD P4.5 and X300U-B

The combination of the Staccato HD P4.5 and full-size SureFire X300U-B creates a performance-oriented firearm and weapon-light setup well suited to belt-mounted carry for range use, training and other OWB applications.

The rigid thermoformed holster body maintains its shape when the firearm is removed and provides a consistent opening for drawing and reholstering.

Dara Attachment Compatibility

The holster uses Dara's attachment pattern and works with compatible Dara belt and mounting attachments. This allows the mounting configuration to be changed without replacing the firearm-and-light-specific holster body.

Will This Holster Fit an HD P4.5 with a TLR-7?

No. This Light-Bearing OWB Holster configuration is specifically for the Staccato HD P4.5 with the SureFire X300U-B. The HD P4.5 with TLR-7 is supported in select Dara DCS and Level 2 Duty Holster configurations, but not this Light-Bearing OWB configuration.

Why Does the Exact Firearm and Light Matter?

Light-bearing holster fit depends on the complete configuration. The weapon light affects the lower portion of the holster while the firearm's dimensions and geometry also influence clearance and retention. A different Staccato equipped with the same X300U-B should not automatically be assumed to fit this holster.
