Glock 43X Holster Options
Posted by Dara Holsters on Jun 16, 2026
At Dara Holsters, we make large variety of holsters for Glock models, including the immensely popular Glock 43 & 43x. If you browse our website, you'll see some different options for the Glock 43x:
- Glock 43 (non railed)
- Glock 43x (non railed)
- Glock 43x MOS (railed)
Light configurations are also available:
- Glock 43 + Streamlight TLR-6 (non railed)
- Glock 43x + Streamlight TLR-6 (non railed)
The "non railed" specification seems to throw customers off, so this article will break down what that means.
Back in 2015 Glock introduced the Glock 43. Then in 2019 came the Glock 43x. Originally, the Glock 43x was launched with no rail- just like the Glock 43. But in 2020, the Glock 43x MOS came out and with it, an accessory rail. Since then Glock has phased out the non railed Glock 43x, but there are still models out there circulating. Thus, the distinction is important when it comes to holster fit. See the figure below.

Above you can see the visible difference in height just around the muzzle end alone. The railed Glock 43x has more height to it due to the accessory rail. For this reason, the railed Glock 43x wouldn't fit in a non railed Glock 43x holster.
See the TLR-6 example below.

As you can see above, the profiles of the railed and non railed Glock 43x with Streamlight TLR-6 lights are different. The TLR-6 lights by themselves are different, coupled with the different dimensions of the railed and nno railed Glock 43x's making them incompatible in the same holster.
Our Glock 43x with TLR-6 holster is designed for the non railed Glock 43x only.
If you are still unsure of the model that you have, please see this TLR-6 Compatibility Guide and ensure you have the TLR-6 model no. 69270 or 69280 for NON-RAILED GLOCK® FIREARMS.
