The Evolution of Superiority! The new METE series incorporates changes designed to take a great product and elevate it to the next level of semi-automatic sporting pistols. The external changes are subtle but are instantly recognizable when handling the firearm. An integrally flared mag-well allows for fluid reloads and extra support for the grip, new aggressive texturing to include the front of the grip allows for increased stability, the double undercut trigger guard secures the support hand on the firearm, the low profile slide stop lever and angled rear sight edge increase functionality in a multitude of situations, a co-witnessing optics ready slide cut now accepting everything from a Trijicon RMRcc all the way to a micro optic allows for a constant and reliable sight picture, an ergonomically redesigned beavertail for comfortability, and a holster fit-and-lock (HFL) system for retention in the holster. The internal changes begin with easy in / easy out push pins that can be removed using slight pressure and the Canik punch. From there the entire platforms internals are modular in a sense that it can be completely disassembled and then reassembled with ease using only the aforementioned Canik punch.

We are starting with the tooling for Level 2 Retention Holsters, and will continuously add tooling until our full holster line offers support for this firearm.

Last night we hit the range to test out our new Level 2 Retention Holster for the Canik METE SFX.

Our Level 2 Duty Holster offers two levels of retention: the first is friction based retention with custom retention points based on the firearm model and adjustable retention. The second level of retention is our proprietary rotating hood. Once the thumb lever is pressed, the hood moves forward with enough force to move loose garment, allowing you to draw your firearm.

All of our holster come optics ready with a taller .5" tall sight channel to accommodate suppressor height or co-witness sights. While most optics fit within our level 2 holster hood system, please measure to ensure your red dot fits the parameters.

Our hood will clear optics measuring less than or equal to 1.2" from the top of the slide to the top of the optic, including any mounting plate.

This duty holster can be ordered with any one of our various belt attachment options. The most common attachment for duty use is the double loop. The double loop is much like a traditional belt slide. Featuring two points of contact to the belt, it offers the stability needed to withstand the rigors of duty. You can adjust both the belt width and the cant angle on the attachment itself by loosening the screws and adjusting the position.

The attachment system shown in the video is our Double Loop + Straight Drop + ALQD System. ALQD stands for 'Auto Locking Quick Disconnect'. This system is best for any individual who owns multiple firearms and wants the ability to switch platforms at any time.

The Double Loop, straight drop and ALQD receiver stays on your outer belt while the ALQD Mount is fixed to the holster. any Dara holster with ALQD mount can then be fastened and secured to your ALQD receiver.

This mounting option also comes with a leg strap adapter for adding a leg strap.
