TLR-7 Holster Offerings & Compatibility

Dara Holsters offers a large amount of holsters for the Streamlight TLR-7. In this blog post we'll go over which TLR-7's we support, the difference between each model and which ones are compatible in the same holsters.
The timeline of the Streamlight TLR-7 goes like this:
2018: Streamlight launches the TLR-7. This was Streamlight's 1st ultra compact light for full and compact size pistols. The original TLR-7 launched with 500 lumens.
2019: Streamlight introduces the TLR-7a. The TLR-7 A and A Flex was an upgraded design with new ergonomic interchangeable rear switches. This customization made activation easier with high and low options.
2021: Streamlight introduces the TLR-7 sub. Made specifically for slim subcompact handguns like the Glock 43X MOS and the Sig P365.
early 2024: Streamlight introduces the TLR-7x. With multifuel capability, the light could now run on a single CR123A battery or the Streamlight SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack.
mid 2024: Streamlight introduces the TLR-7 hlx and the TLR-7x sub. Streamlight upgraded the lumens on the HLX up to 1,000 lumens and kept the multi-fuel capability. the TLR-7x sub added multi-fuel options to the subcompact line.
late 2024: Streamlight introduces the TLR-7 hlx sub. Streamlight then pushed subcompact performance up to 1,000 lumens.
While all of these models are "TLR-7's" they will not all fit in the same holster.

As you can see above, the TLR-7 HLX (bottom) and TLR-7 HLX sub (4th from top) not only look different than eachother, they also have a different profile from the original TLR-7 line up.
The following TLR-7 light models are compatible in the same holsters:
