Boasting the fastest rotating hood system on the market, the release is designed to produce a consistent, repeatable draw stroke that clears loose garment while remaining instinctive under stress.

Unlike many retention holsters that simply add a third-party hood to an OWB holster, the Dara Light Bearing Level 2 Duty Holster was engineered in-house from the ground up as a complete retention system. Everything from the rubber grommets of the adjustable retention system, to the hardware used, has the rigors of duty in mind. The holster body is precisely molded to protect the trigger guard, preventing access to the trigger while the firearm is holstered providing safety during everyday carry and duty use.

Compatible with the Dara Level 2 Control Kit, users can further customize the thumb release by modifying the button size and style that best fits their hand size, glove use, or personal preference.

Every holster is individually thermoformed from premium Kydex or Boltaron for your exact firearm and weapon light combination. Unlike injection-molded designs, our manufacturing process allows us to rapidly support newly released firearms and weapon lights, ensuring professional users have access to duty holsters shortly after new models reach the market.

   Designed to accommodate slide-mounted optics and suppressor-height sights, ensuring versatility for various duty or tactical setups. The REGULAR HOOD can accommodate optics up to 1.2" tall when measured from the top of the slide to the top of the optic. Anything taller than that will require the LARGE HOOD. If your optic measures in between, we recommend sizing up. For the Trijicon SRO or RMR HD, please check the box for a deeper optic cut.

4. Customizable Draw
   Adjust the ride height and cant angles for optimal comfort and draw efficiency. Add an optional leg strap for extra stability, especially during high-intensity operations.

5. Attachment Options
   Choose between our DBL2 or DBL2-L System, Both options provide clearance for body armor and a natural draw stroke, making this level 2 holster ideal for professional use. All attachments accommodate belt widths measuring 1.5" - 2.25".

6. Third Party Compatibility
   For those running attachment systems from other companies, The Bridge™ Adapter allows the user to connect our Holsters to most third party belt attachments.

Yes. We offer 2 rotating hood sizes to accommodate most optics on the market with very few exceptions. We also accommodate forward mounted optics such as the Trijicon RMR HD & Trijicon SRO. 

Will this light compatible holster fit any weapon mounted light attachment?
No, this holster is made to order only for the specific firearm and light configurations listed on the drop down menu. Any deviation from the list will result in a fitment issue.
