LIGHT BEARING LEVEL 2 DUTY HOLSTER

I use this pistol at the range, for training and for home defense. It' got a red dot sight and a Surefire X300 light. The light is wider than the pistol so the only retention is the Kydex sides squeezing the light, and the pistol has almost popped out of my old holster on Run and Gun. The hood eliminates any loss of the weapon. It's quick and anatomically natural to release. My only complaint is that a thigh strap is needed to prevent the holster retaining the pistol as the holster is offset to the side and pulls up and out without the strap use. It's not a deal breaker and can be overcome my creating a very loose setting for the Kydex pressure on the light. With the red dot cut and the hood adapted for the optic, this is overall a super setup. I'm told that several policing and security agencies have deals with Dara to use this holster as a duty item. Compared to the other major manufacturer of duty holsters, I can see why. This one is simple and sleek and can be customized to more weapons and models.

I woulda given it 5 stars if it wasn’t angled so far from the body and sat a little higher, but that’s just my preference. Other than that very happy with it very well made holster.

I purchased a Sig P320 Carry with a tlr7 light several months ago. I struggled to find a holster that compact and fit the gun properly. I found the Dara Holster website and thought I would yak e a chance. It is probably the best duty holster I have ever had. I will buy another holster from them for off duty. I love their products. Fast affordable and made to my specifications.
My only complaint is there drop down offset holster is garbage. There's a reason Ben Stoeger boss hangers are so popular is so that you can have a better drop down that doesn't angle into your freakin leg and so far off the body. I called but apparently they don't see fit to make a straight drop down and of course the holes and dimensions in their holster are proprietary so I don't know if you could be compatible with the standard boss drop down accessory or the Safariland version.

I am very pleased with this well made holster.

I've had my level 2 light bearing duty holster for my glock G45 with TLR7 for a month now and could not be any happier with my purchase. It is extremely comfortable, functions very well, is adjustable in so many ways and positions my firearm perfectly. In addition to that, it draws a lot of attention from my fellow officers and after you tell them the price, they don't feel so happy about their... well we'll just say high dollar rigs. Best bang for your buck!
