Light Bearing Level 2 Duty Holster 5

I recently purchased the level 2 light bearing duty holster from DARA and I have been so far impressed with the quality construction and fitment of my weapon. I also recently purchased a Springfield Prodigy DS 4.25 inch and was struggling to find a compatible holster for my weapon and light combination. After a little research, I found that the Prodigy 4.25 and the Staccato P were dimensionality the same. I ordered a holster from DARA for the Staccato, as there wasn't an option for the Springfield, and hoped for the best. Upon arrival, I discovered that the holster was an exact fit. It perfectly accommodated my Springfield with the Streamlight TLR1 HL. The weapon is secure in the holster with no unnecessary wiggle room. I highly recommend DARA holsters to anyone looking for a reasonably priced product that doesn't sacrifice quality.

Very happy with this holster. This was Exactly what I needed I love the simple design of it. I’m also a big fan of Dara’s QD mounting system. Would recommend to anyone looking for a holster to put on their gun belt. Would buy again.

This is my first purchase from Dara holsters. I’m a retired police sergeant and assistant, SWAT team leader, so I spent my career working with different types of retention holsters on various types of missions. This is an early review. I’ve completed one Range day and about 300 rounds out of this holster along with daily dry fire. It just took me a couple of repetitions to get the retention down, and so far I’m very happy with it. It’s intuitive and a simple mechanism. I use the quick loop attachment on a battle belt, and the adjustments are very simple. Attaching the leg strap was easy enough, and so far I’m entirely pleased with the purchase and the performance of the holster. I don’t run missions anymore, but I still train and I still teach, so I’m glad to find this holster.

I had to remove the beaver tail on my g45 for the holsters bail to close all the way. Maybe just make the bail a little larger or put a recess in it. Other than that, great product!

Fits like a glove and is sturdy. Kinda wish it had an optics cover so the elements stay off but not a big deal.
