Mountable Holsters: Mounted on Left vs. Mounted on Right
By the end of this article I'm hoping you'll walk away ready to purchase a Mounted Vehicle Holster knowing exactly what each option means, specifically: the Mounting Side.
You'll notice in all of our Vehicle Mounted Holster pictures, the mount is placed on the left side of the holster. This is because that is the most preferred way to mount.
Right Handed Shooters:
If you are right handed, and you are mounting the holster to the underside of the steering column or to your seat rail, you'll want to choose Mounted on Left. This means that the 1" Mounting Ball will be placed on the left side of the holster, if holding the gun correctly and looking down the sight channel.

Left Handed Shooters:
If you're left handed and mounting the holster to your dashboard under the steering column, or mounting the holster to your seat rail, you will want to choose Mounted on the Right. This means the 1" Mounting Ball will be placed on the right side of the holster, if holding the gun correctly and looking down the sight channel.
